labtob - audit (xenlab’s tax evader remx)

i was honoured when r_garcia asked me to provide a remix for our good friend jeremy isen (labtob), for his new album, out on nophi recordings. the catch was i had to have it ready in 2 days.

the track was done by slicing up the beats in sound forge, and then arranging and effecting them in ableton live. the beats are mostly just millisecond clips of the original bleepy beats, arranged purposefully and using effected samples of labtobâ€™s original melodies. the opening sample came from a text-to-speech app we used as an opener to an improv performance me, labtob and randy did at the peacock room one thursday evening. i still think the way it says labtob is funny.
