Looks like the industry is starting to really pay attention to the laptop rockers. Now Korg is coming out with gear that you can easily port with your laptop from studio to gig and back. Slick and tiny, these look like an array of controls that any ableton junkie will get a lot of mileage with. Read more about it on Create Digital Music. Let’s just hope the price reflects the size. The lot of them shouldn’t go for more than $150.
Finally got my photos from the Meat Beat Manifesto show at the Social in Orlando on April 30, 2008 uploaded. Check ‘em out. The show, as usual, was amazing. This was the third or forth time I’ve seem them play live, and the show keeps getting better and better. Plus the new album totally smokes most of what I’ve heard in the dubstep genre, so check that shit out as well.
