I just wanted to post a quick note to say things to Randy and Matt for throwing one hell of a 3 day party. Mad props to Steve Q. and phat_joe for making it out - it was a pleasure meeting and talking with both of you (can’t wait to listen to your CD Steve) - as I have only gotten to know them through the Snuggles list.
The stand out acts for me were:
- The Nerd Parade
- Swak Sinatra
- Citizen Green
- Harmaline
- The Secret Life
I had the pleasure of dropping two dj sets, which were both well received (especially the old school set, which I grinded up with my KP3). I was also very happy with my live set (as were many in the audience), as it was built on the fly and completely improv’d. I will be buckling that one down in the studio and getting that one recorded for future podcasting at this location.
Other than that, It was an honor to be invited to play in Atlanta, and was inspired to possibly get something like that going here in O-Town.
