In an age of technology where downloading and streaming music is so easy the art of actually going to a "vynil" store and checking out the selection and buying a record is a lost art of new generation of folks who like music. Vynil is and and will forever will be "Classic" material.

Who are you?: I'm Arratik. This is true on several levels.

What are you working on?: Finishing my degree, learning PHP programming, trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to do with all of my field recordings, relearning software that I had forgotten how to use by giving myself simple exercises like mash-ups. (Here's one I tossed off over the weekend - "Loveless Bridge (My Bloody Valentine vs. Fergie)". It sucks, but most mash-ups do anyway.)

What didn’t you finish this year?: There's probably not enough room in this particular field in the wp_comments table to list everything I didn't finish.

What do you want more of this year?: Time

What do you want less of?: Worries

How many roads does a man have to walk down before they consider him a man?: I'd say it's proportionate to the number of years that some people can exist before they're allowed to be free.

Great post/blog Xenlab. DaDa lives. I'm down with the idealism expressed by Splasher. The wheat paste/glass shards manifestos really sum up the reasoning behind their actions and eye can see the logic.

I am sorta ambivilant to the whole thing in one regard. However, I am also ever so tired of the modern notions of "ownership" that many hold so dear in the free market society.

Everything shouldn't be a commodity, and nothing will last forever. So why do we cling so close to that which we think we own?

Land of the free, home of the trapped by our possessionism.

Who are you? I am your wife. Amy M.

What are you working on? I am currently baking a baby and working on getting the house ready for the new arrival. I am also trying to get you motivated to help ;)

What didn’t you finish this year? Well, it just started so I am not finished with the nursery yet. That is my primary concern.

What do you want more of this year? Make money and travel.

What do you want less of? Your lip.

How many roads does a man have to walk down before they consider him a man? I don't know.

Adam - go for it. atom is a fucking cool name.

Morgan - I thought that was you. Come in from the cold - before you catch your death - and have a nice cup of tea. You can stalk me from across the table or something.

Slobbert - Damn Inflation! Can't wait to see what you create in 08.

Migraine - KEEP THE BREAKCORE COMING. THERE ARE STILL SOME EARS NOT BLEEDING.

Thank you people... keep 'em coming.

Who are you?

...i am slobbert. all my old friends call me rob. all my friends i've met since i've known my wife call me robert. the cool ones call me BBA.

What are you working on?

...getting our new place in order, currently. and i actually am actively cowriting a screenplay. google docs is so goddamn useful for out-of-state collaboration.

What didn’t you finish this year?

...well, the aforementioned screenplay. and a bazillion other creative projects i've had rattling around my head for a long time now. i could've made time, but i would've burnt myself out, ultimately getting nothing done. 07 was a crazy-busy year for me.

What do you want more of this year?

...to pursue my interests, now that my life has settled somewhat. new dog, new wife, new home. it's been a helluva year. 08 is shaping up to be rather exciting, but i want...no, i need...to get back to writing. and i'm not talking about my blogs.

What do you want less of?

...right now? i'd say i want less snow.

How many roads does a man have to walk down before they consider him a man?

...six million and thirty-two. it used to be a lot less than that, but with inflation, manmaking roads aren't worth as much as they used to be.

My name is morgan23 and I am an alcoholic.

I started checking this blog right about the time that I started stalking you. You might have noticed the black Nissan parked behind your white truck.

My hobbies include long walks on the beach, playing music in a circuit bending band that only does Capitan Beefheart covers, and working on my coil gun.

2008 will be an even numbered year. That means it's divisible by two. Looking forward to some good politics this year. How are you guys voting? I'm voting for bush again.

i am adam, i almost changed my name to atom at 18. i might still one day.

i'm working on fast, good looking stencils for people to put up in apartments so that they dont have to spend lots repainting the walls, also a few paintings, a few hypothetical community designs, hypothetical house designs, and i have an essay project ongoing about the complications and issues of suburbia. at work i'm rehabilitating a set of buildings in a trainyard to be converted into a children's museum.

all of the above. i did finish about 4 paintings and a pile of essays, as well as college. i'm proud of the essay on my blog about the music industry and changes.

i want more motivation and energy. or more time.

less irritation about things i dont control. less arguments with the people who are supposed to be closest to me.

far too few these days. hell hardly anyone walks anymore.

I'm thinking about doing something like it. Just need a proper venue, and a good season. we'll see what 2008 brings.
