Some 35 people rallied to show their support for the Orlando Weekly’s troubles with the Orlando MBI. The faithful showed their support for about an hour, during which they paraded from the Orlando Weekly offices to the MBI Offices. Mad props to the organizers, as well as the participants. Even a little non-violent direct action goes a long way.

I was on the fence. I thought that it was too short (I went down to take photos myself, but couldn’t find parking fast enough - I saw them in front of MBI, but didn’t get over to them in time to snap a few).
I was like, man, back in the 60s they’d sit in for hours - maybe even days. But then again. They were all tripping, too.
But as I talked it over with friends, I was convinced that any action, with media coverage, is worthwhile. Gets the word out at least, and as GI Joe says:
