What an amazing show. Krush really knows how to draw a crowd in. His beats were deliberate. Pounding. Marauding. And in the midst of the hypnotic chaos that is his sound, draped as it is in its melancholy demeanor - you find yourself lifted - in a zazen moment in the middle of the dance floor as his unrelenting rhythms rocked your ego and your id away in a dark slumber of sinister enlightenment. Where the only truth is the one you tell yourself, and you realize - in a flash, as if you had just figured out the answer to some musical kÅan - that you better be telling yourself something powerful, or else you too, can be lost to the wilderness of the sleeping herd.
This was the best show I’ve been to since Girl Talk played here a few months ago.
He signed my album. He doesn’t speak english, so I had to negotiate this through his interpreter.

Check out the notes on this one.
I’m so jealous that he signed your album– I had forgotten to bring a CD. I also wondered if he spoke english–lol, i guess not.
There are very few artists that I will seek a sig from. I should scan put them all online I guess… but I have all three Hardkiss brothers. LX Paterson of the Orb. Kid Koala (signing his first book, Nufonia must fall). Freaky Chakra vs. Single Cell Orchestra (both on the same VS album they did in the 90s). Maybe a couple others….
But it takes a special someone for me to want to get a signature (and owning a non digital release).
It was a magical event. I’m glad we got the chance to see him perform. I knew about the non-english speaking (and his itrepreter / man friday) from that DVD he is touring to promote. (A friend of mine got a press copy early, because, well - he’s in he press
