With the help of the Miro player, I have been getting more and more into “Internet TV” (shows produced solely for internet distribution). As time goes by, I add more and more shows to my subscriptions. I started with stuff from Revision 3 (systm, diggnation, tekzilla), TED Talks, Webb Alert, Channel Frederator, and everyone’s favorite: Ask A Ninja.
Boing Boing recently started their own short form show, covering the same kinds of cool shit they cover on their blog proper. Today is the third episode, and it is hi-larious. You can watch the embeded video below (its released under a creative commons license), but I invite you to click through and get subscribed to the video. Just grab the RSS feed link, and put that in as a ‘Channel’ in Miro, and you’ll never miss another episode.
Enjoy!

I’m tremendously impressed with the quality of content coming from the BoingBoing TV camp. I thought it might start as being “cheesy” but it’s very well produced.
I picked up Miro recently to see if it matured from it’s “Democracy Player” days, it’s a great piece of software and there’s definitely an improvement to the content folks are providing. If you get a chance check out the “Midwest Teen Sex Show” (sorry there’s no nudity in it, but it’s pretty tongue in cheek), it has lots of the funny.
The “Midwest Teen Sex Show” is awesome. After hearing about it for months, it finally hit the front page of the Miro Guide, and I subscribed. I am glad down to earth info like this exists, and is real enough to be able to poke some fun at it. Required watching for all your little bundles of hormones.
