I'm active on a number of Yahoo Groups dedicated to music. For electronic music, Hyperreal.org has a number of quality lists as well. Message boards are scattered far and wide across the internet, and shouldn't be too hard to find with a google search.</p> <p>But to truly 'exploit' these avenues, you can't exploit them.... That is, you have to become a member of the community and then from there promote yourself and your music with a variety of passive techniques (such as Signature Files), or with just good old fashioned self-promotion ("Hey I've got this new album/project/track/etc.").</p> <p>You just have to remember to keep the list/msg board signal to noise ratio in mind, and you should do just fine.
