Martin Scorsese has committed to direct an untitled documentary about the life of George Harrison.
Now this is a movie of Martin’s we can look forward to seeing. And the Beetles still breathing are talking about participating. This is one to keep on your radar. As a young lad, Oliver Stone introduced me to Jim Morrison and The Doors. Here’s hoping Scorsese will do the same for George Harrison (02/24/1943 – 11/29/2001) and the Beetles.

Yes, sadly, I’m not very familiar with their catalogue. But there’s hope. After Stone’s movie, intrigued by what I heard on the soundtrack, I discovered the entire Doors’ back catalog.

I read about this yesterday (Ha! Beatles’ pun!) and am very excited. As I’ve grown older, I’ve gone through all the Beatles as if through phases: McCartney, Starr, Lennon and ended up on Harrison who is still my favorite of the fab four. I’m really looking forward to seeing it.
Awesome. This gives me hope. I don’t know how I grew up so Beetles clueless, but I’m ready to get that corrected!
